Northern States Basement Systems Case Studies: Friendly Customer, Continually Dry Basement
Challenge
We had an awesome job in Roseau, MN. The customer we were working with was incredibly welcoming to our crew. The man took our crew to the museum he worked at after hours, the museum had 4-wheelers and old snowmobiles. They all got along so well, that the man even asked them to stay longer and hang out. The first job was a basic waterproofing issue in the basement.
Solution
We solved the issue with a sump pump. However, our crew had to go back a second time for the basement because there was a really bad flood in this customer’s town and the water had gotten high enough that it was up to his front door. But when the crew went to check, his basement had stayed completely dry. The only reason they had, had to go back was because the city had turned the underground power lines off during the flood.
